Taking a Gap Year?
If you're planning to take a gap year, whether it be next year or in a few why not check out YFC's very own gap year, YFCone?
YFC one
Be Part Of It! YFCone bring around 50 young people together each year on a mission to the UK! Everyone gets together at least 4 times during the year for fabulous residential worship, training and fun! The rest of the time you get out there, get your hands dirty and experience first hand what God is doing among the emerging generation.
Choose Your Own Track On a YFCone gap year, you get to choose from several "streams", which all aim to take the gospel relevantly to young people, but in very different ways. You can choose between drama, music, media, prisons work, sport, or relational youthwork - whatever your gifts are, you will find an amazing opportunity to serve God and see him move through you.
Cambridge, Britain, The World Whatever you're looking for, if you want to serve God with your gap year, YFCone can help! We'd love you to spend a year in your home city and serve with us here in Cambridge. You'll get to run exciting events, take lessons in schools, and help to stir things up right on your doorstep. Instead, you might choose to branch out in a new town, working with one of YFCs 65 local centres. But with YFC being a truly international movement, you could even find yourself spending time overseas, discovering what gospel ministry looks like in a totally different culture.
You can find out more information from the YFCone website: www.yfcone.com

Chris and Becca, who were placed with Cambridge YFC on their year, have both given us a short testimony about their year:
Becca I had always wanted to do some sort of gap year to spend sometime giving something back to all those who have helped me in the past. I realised that if it was not for those dedicated people I would not be anywhere near where I am with God today. Since I started it has been so exciting seeing God work through me, but also just to see how he has provided for me.
Chris I signed up to the YFCone scheme not knowing what to expect. It was worth it. I had a great time at training in Worcester being really challenged while making loads of new friends. Cambridge so far has been equally challenging and rewarding, helping with and leading assemblies, Christian unions and church youth groups. I have now almost finished my first term and it has been truly amazing seeing God working in the lives of youth in Cambridge.
