Thirst
What is it? On the 2nd Sunday of each month (during term-time) young people from villages west of Cambridge and beyond, meet together for an evening of worship, teaching and prayer. The worship is led by the Thirst band, made up of teenage musicians using songs from Soul Survivor, Hillsong and similar styles. Bible teaching is led by one of the WCCYM leaders, a visiting speaker, or one of our emerging leaders. The prayer is an opportunity for people to actively respond to God as they feel appropriate. There is also a prayer room for contemplation and/or prayer with a leader.
New for this term… prayer zones to help people responding to God.
Combine all this with games, video, refreshments and you can see why Thirst is one of the places to be if you are at secondary school or 6th form college and you want to engage with God.
Also, look out for Christmas and Summer Thirst which include, giant inflatables, team games and much more!
When is it? 7pm - 8.30pm on the 2nd Sunday of each month during term time.
Where is it? Cambourne Church, Jeavons Lane, Cambourne, Cambs, CB23 6GW
